Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 October 2026

DocBoost ("DocBoost", "we", "us") is operated by 9372555 Canada Inc. We help dental and optometry clinics in Canada with their marketing. This policy explains what personal information we collect through docboost.ca, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our website, we collect:

  • your name, clinic name, email address and phone number
  • your practice type, city or province, and your clinic's website address
  • the services you're interested in and anything else you choose to tell us

Sign-up offer. When you sign up for our offer, we collect your first name, your email address and, if you give it, your clinic's website address.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you found our site. We collect this using cookies and similar tools (see section 5).

We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send us, any patient health information through our website.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • reply to your request and send you the free audit you asked for
  • follow up about our services (we follow up once, and you can ask us to stop at any time)
  • provide services if you become a client
  • understand how people use our website and improve it
  • measure how well our advertising works
  • meet our legal obligations
  • send you your sign-up code and, if you agreed, our marketing emails

We don't sell your personal information.

3. Your consent

By sending us a form, you agree to us using your information as described in this policy. We only send marketing emails with your consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You give that consent by ticking the box on our sign-up offer, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@docboost.ca.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your information when it's needed to do the things described above:

  • Service providers who help us run our website and business, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics and advertising tools. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • A partner agency, if your business is outside health care and you've asked about services we don't provide. We'll only pass on your details so they can reply to your request.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of our service providers store information outside Canada, for example in the United States. When that happens, your information is protected by contract, but it may be accessed by authorities in that country under their laws.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tools from Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our ads. These tools only run if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Decline, we only keep what the site needs to work, such as your cookie choice and whether you've closed our offer. You can change your choice anytime with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't stop the website from working.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to reply to you and follow up, or for as long as you're a client, and then for as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. If you join our email list, we keep your details until you unsubscribe.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, secure connections and trusted service providers. No website or online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that's wrong
  • delete your information, unless we need to keep it by law
  • stop sending you marketing emails (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails)

Email hello@docboost.ca and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
